"I was in prison and you came to Me."
Matthew 25:36
Who We Are
A Distinct Identity
Redeeming Love Prison Ministry was born in the heart of Sharla Yoder, a 1985 Rhema Bible School graduate. Sharla worked in several ministries after the sudden death of her husband in 1986. She began ministering to the women at the Tulsa County Jail in 1990. In October of 1992, God called Sharla to full time prison ministry. In 1994 to 1996, she served as Chaplain at Eddie Warrior Correctional Center Women’s Prison in Taft, Oklahoma, while the ministry was still small.
Phenomenal Growth
Redeeming Love Prison Ministry incorporated in 1992 as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and now has over
40 ambassadors ministering over 15 times per month in correctional facilities throughout the State of Oklahoma.
